First Jump Course

Your first BASE course

There is two parts to the course, you can join for either depending on your experience.

The first part of the course will be run in Croatia. Here we will learn static line, pilot chute assist, handheld and stowed jumps. A slow and steady progression from a legal bridge with a big landing. We will cover weather considerations, gear specifics, malfunctions, multi-ways, night jumps, location analysis, object avoidance. The course will be run with no more then a 4:1 instructor ratio.

Part 2 of the course will be terminal jumps from Monte Brento. Depending on your tracking ability we can look at either going slick or with a two piece tracking suit.

To enable you to make the most of your time jumping, it necessary for you learn to pack your BASE canopy before joining us in Croatia. Obviously I can help you refine your packing and assist you with any queries.

A minimum of 200 skydives, other aerial sports would be helpful.

Please ask me if you are unsure of this requirement.

Canopy handling, helicopter/ balloon jumps and tracking experience will all help you on this course.

I did Tim's FJC in April 2019. Excellent smooth and methodical progression all the way from SD techniques to terminal SU. I found the course so beneficial I have recommend several other students to take the course and even joined Tim on his other FJCs. It's the best thing I've ever done.

Tim offered great personalised progression. Thorough instruction across all areas that enabled me to leave the course confident to jump a variety of objects by myself.
